Guest is the lightest permission level in Giraffe. A Guest sees limited information about a project through a Space, without ever opening the project itself. Guest access is an add-on for Enterprise accounts, and it only applies to Projects and Spaces.

A project Guest can view project metadata in a Space. A project Guest cannot open the project to see its model, layers, or spatial data. See Project Permissions.

A Space Guest can see a subset of project data from within a Space. See Space Permissions.

Layers do not offer a Guest level. Someone you share a layer with gets View, Edit, or Admin. See Share Layers.

A template is a project nominated for reuse, so template Guest access works the same way project Guest access does: metadata visible through a Space, with the template itself staying closed. See Create a Template.

A workspace property is a custom metadata field on projects, like sale price or zoning code. Each property can individually be marked visible to Guests. A Guest only sees the property values an Admin has marked this way, on top of the limited project metadata they already see through a Space. See Edit Workspace Properties.

Layout templates do not offer a Guest level. Someone you share one with gets View or Admin. See Share layouts.

A Guest cannot see a project's file attachments by default. On Enterprise accounts, a project's Admin can turn on Guest visibility for an individual attachment, like a report or survey, so it shows up for Guests even though the rest of the project stays closed to them. See Project Attachments.

A file in your File Library is a different thing from a project attachment: it shares the same underlying structure as a content pack, and does not offer a Guest level. Someone you share one with gets View or Admin.

Content packs do not offer a Guest level. Someone you share a content pack with gets View or Admin. See Share a Content Pack.

Apps do not offer a Guest level either. Someone you share an app with gets View or Admin. See Share an App.

Credentials do not use the graded Admin, Edit, View, and Guest system the way other content does. A credential is shared with a Team or your workspace as a whole, and separately with the apps that need it, rather than assigned an individual permission level. See Share a Credential.

Workspace Guest is a broader role, set when a member is invited. A workspace Guest can view Spaces and see limited information about projects, without needing a full workspace license. See Member Permissions and Governance in Giraffe.
