Layers often have complex data structures that are displayed graphically using a color scale. Adding a legend to your report brings clarity.
Click the Legends tool
Choose a layer from your project:
The available keys will be loaded:
Select the keys to display
Choose how many columns to organise the selection with
Click "add to document" when ready.

The selections on the left generated the legend on the right
The Legend is added as a Graphic. Use the Graphics appearance settings to adjust.
