Properties can accept a few types of data inputs.
Number
Number properties are the only values that can be referenced in Analytics.
These fields only accept numerical inputs.
Edit the value by:
Clicking into the box and typing a value
Using the + / - buttons to increase and decrease the value
Click + drag in the box to "scrub" the value up or down
Color
The basic color selector includes a dot with a color preview and a box to input a hex code.
Change the color by:
Color Presets
The appearance section of properties also includes color presets.
Select a preset, or double click to replace a preset with another color.
Toggle
Choose a yes/no or on/off condition with a toggle.
Click the toggle to change the current selection.
Select
Select properties allow you to cheese between different pre-determined options.
Dropdown Select
The select dropdown shows the current selection. To change the selection, click the dropdown and select a different option.
Special Select
Some built in select properties have a special UI design to make them appear as buttons or state icons. This example shows the Label Type selection - Plain Text, Shape, or Image. Click the button that selects the option you want to enable.
Text
Text fields allow any alpha-numeric input, including spaces, punctuation, and special characters.
Text fields can be used for label content...
Or to set a value. When a value is set, it is based on JSON - like the dash example here. Text-based value inputs are often used with input parameters in flows.
Rich Text
Pop ups accept Rich Text. Rich Text inputs allow formatting and styling, such as bold, italics, different font sizes, colors, and even embedded media like images and tables.
