To create a group, first select multiple geometries. Then, use one of the Group commands to create the group.
Click “Group” in the top left of the property palette
use hotkey
ctrl+GUse the command line and search "group"
Right click -> select group
Click the ... (more tools) button in the drawing toolbar, and select "Group"
Once the geometries are grouped, a Group Name is assigned in the top of the Property Palette.
Edit the name to be something descriptive.
Every group must have a unique group name.
Groups are defined via a special property called groupId. The Group Id is the unique group name you input in the property palette.
