Groups are singular objects that cannot have instanced copies. You can delete a group by selecting the group, then clicking del on your keyboard.
This deletes the group, its id, and the geometries from the project.
Caution: If the group is referenced with the group instance flow node, the group instances will no longer generate. Edit the flow to reference a different group.
