About Regrid

The Regrid dataset provides comprehensive parcel data with boundaries, buildings, addresses, and geographic enrichments for all your location decisions.

Giraffe partners with Regrid to provide parcel and tax assessor data across the USA and Canada. The Regrid Site Search app helps you filter every parcel in the USA down to a usable sub-set, ready for due diligence.

This app requires an annual subscription with the Regrid data add on.

Reach out to sales for more information.

Add the App

Open the App Store in the right hand palette to add the app.

Search Regrid Site Search

Click "Add"

The app icon is the Regrid logo.

Search

There are two options for searching parcels:

  • Zoning - Search by zoning subtype

  • Owner - Search by owner last name

Zoning Search

Search for parcels by their zoning subtype.

Zoning Subtype is a normalized field created by Regrid.

Click "Zoning Search"

  1. Input State abbreviation

  2. Optionally input county name

  3. Select Zoning Subtype from the dropdown

  4. Input minimum acreage

  5. Input number of results

The more results you request, the longer the query may take to run.

  6. Click "fetch parcels"

Owner Search

Search parcels by their owner's last name.

Click "owner search"

  1. Input the owner's last name

  2. Input State abbreviation

  3. Optionally input county name

  4. Input number of results

The more results you request, the longer the query may take to run.

  5. Click "search by owner"

Review Results

Once the query completes, a new "Search Results" temporary layer is added to your project layer palette.

The parcel outlines will also display on your map (depending on your zoom level and map location).

To interrogate your parcels further, open the Data Table on your search results layer.

The data table appears.

By default, all fields are shown. We recommend changing the columns from the column select menu at the bottom.

Click a line item in the table to review it in the left hand panel:

Select any parcels you want to save for further review by ticking the checkboxes.

Then, use bulk actions to either save them as projects or save them as a static GeoJSON.
