Themes are sub-headings within each Location. A Theme is a collection of Carousel items.
The theme displays the title, description, and color (as a highlight) in the right bar to the Places viewer. When a viewer clicks the Theme title, the map changes to the saved view and displays the first carousel item in that Theme.
Create a Theme
Open the Organize Layout tab in the Places app. Navigate to the Location you want to add the theme to.
Click the Plus on the Location heading to add the Theme.

Add a Theme description
Select a Color by inputting a hex code.
Click Create to add the Theme to the Location.

Double click to edit the theme name
8. Add a Carousel Item
Click the + to add a Carousel item to the theme
9. Edit the Theme
Re-opens the create theme menu to quickly adjust name, description, and color
Delete a Theme
Click the Bin to delete the Theme. Deleting a Theme will delete all of the carousel items contained within that theme
Move the Theme
Change the order in which the themes display in the editor and the Places view. Click-drag on the 6-dot icon to move. You can move themes between locations using this method.
