The Editable Terrain options include settings to change how the Editable Mesh behaves and appears.

Toggle on Terrain in the Terrain app.

Select "Editable Terrain"

Terrain Options

Expand the Terrain Options.

Clip to Site Boundary options:

On=Terrain Boundary matches Project Boundary

Off = Terrain boundary matches visible tiles

Project features onto terrain options:

On=Giraffe features will drape to terrain

Off = Giraffe features will ignore terrain

Show terrain at real world datum:

On = distance above ground plane matches real-world elevation

Off = Drop button matches lowest point of terrain mesh to Giraffe ground plane

Color Terrain

On = color terrain based on cut/fill changes

Off = Terrain changes un-colored

Coloration intensity

Adjust the overall coloration opacity and saturation when color terrain is toggled on.

Set to anything 0 and above. 0 is no intensity. Higher numbers and greater intensity.

Terrain Mesh Offset

Adjust the Terrain Mesh Offset to raise or lower the terrain mesh relative to the Giraffe ground plane.

Terrain resolution

Adjust the visual fidelity of the terrain mesh.

The size represents the size of the tiles.

Visual Fidelity does not affect calculations.

Tile Buffer

Increase the tile buffer when terrain tiles do not seem to load close enough to the project boundary, or when strange clipping occurs at the project boundary.
