Project Defaults

Update project defaults

Written by Holly Conrad Smith

The project defaults, or "system properties" are the basic units of measure in your project.

The default settings are:

  • Units: This is how you change your project between imperial and metric (meters and feet)

  • Currency Symbol: The default currency symbol displayed in reports

  • Gross Area Acronym: The acronym displayed for Gross area in Urban

  • Net Area Acronym: The acronym displayed for net area (grossArea*Efficiency) in Urban

  • Saleable Area Acronym: The acronym displayed for saleable area (grossArea*sellEfficiency) area in Urban

Open Project Settings on the left. The icon looks like a cog.

Click "system" to open defaults.

Click the pencil icon next to a value to edit. Click save to commit your changes.

  • Set the project units (choose between meters/feet - ie metric or imperial)

  • Set currency symbol

  • Set acronyms for gross, net, and saleable areas

You can also edit the grid, map style, or project boundary from here.
