When you need to target specific features without clicking through the map, these selection tools let you find exactly what you're looking for. Select a single feature by its ID or grab all features of a given type in one step.
Select by ID
Useful when errors give a feature ID.
Go to Select > By Feature ID from the More Tools or command line.
Enter the feature ID in the box at the bottom of the screen
The feature matching that ID is selected.
Select by Type
Useful for grabbing similar geometries.
Go to Select > By Type from the More Tools or command line.
Choose the type.
All features in the project matching that type are selected.
Select by Usage (Buildings only)
Click the area graph in Urban to select all geometries of the selected Usage.
