Scenario Palette

Manage the metadata of your scenarios

The Scenario palette is where you can manage the metadata and visibility of your Scenarios.

Open the Palette by clicking the Tag icon on the left hand palette.

The Scenario manager opens as a fly out.

Scenario Manager

  1. New scenario

  2. Search scenarios in current project

  3. The Base Model

    The Base model always exists in every project

  4. The Base Model is always visible

    The active scenario has a Green Pencil.

    Any new geometries will be automatically assigned to the active scenario.

  5. An invisible scenario.

    Double click any scenario to activate it and deactivate all other scenarios.

    Double click any scenario name to rename it

  6. Click the eyeball to change a scenario's visibility

  7. The Scenario Menu

    1. Activate the scenario (green pencil)

    2. Show the scenario (if hidden)

    3. Hide the scenario

    4. Focus scenario (hide all other scenarios and make selection visible)

    5. Edit Scenario

      Opens the Scenario Metadata detail

    6. Duplicate Scenario

    7. Select instances

      Selects every geometry assigned to the scenario

  8. The default scenario

    The default scenario is the one that is active when opening the project.

    Click the star on a scenario to set it as the favorite

  9. Filter scenarios by selected

    Select an item on the map. Click filter icon

    The scenario list shows only the scenario(s) the select is assigned to.

  10. Scenario Manager Menu

    1. Delete unused (empty) scenarios

    2. Sort scenarios by name

Scenario Metadata Detail

Scenario Metadata helps you to keep track of the purpose for each scenario.

A descriptive name and detailed description will provide clarity.

Select a color to visually scan through the scenario list.

Edit the name, description, or color in this menu.

Click save to apply changes.
