It's likely Analytics is not configured yet if you're in a brand-new project. Here's how to start building from scratch!

Open the analytics tab on the right. The tab icon is a square-root symbol.

You will see the Get Started with Analytics prompt.

Options:

  • Start with Blank Slate

  • Import from another project

  • Start with a Template

Start with a Blank Slate

  1. Click Start with a blank slate.

  2. Start by creating a category. A category is a container for your calculations.

Give the category any name, and select a color.

Don't worry, you can change this later

  3. The next view is your blank analytics report.

From here, you can create a calculation, configure tabs, add categories, and adjust the grouping.

As you add calculations, the computed values will update as you draw in your project.

Use a Template

Select a template.

Metric vs Imperial determines the units in the report.

The Imperial template is more USA-focused metrics while the Metric template reflects typical Australian metrics.

Metric Template

The metric template includes 3 tabs: Default, Rent Option, and Sale Option.

Default tab: Urban metrics and model info

Rental Option Feasibility: Calculations based on netRent property

Sale Option feasibility: Calculation based on salePrice property

Imperial Template

The imperial template includes one tab focused on a residential rental scenario.

The templates are good for getting an idea of what is possible, but just like with usages, we recommend you update the analytics reports to match your assumptions and needs.
