Bringing ArcGIS files into Giraffe or exporting Giraffe to ArcGIS

Bring Giraffe into ArcGIS

Giraffe is GeoJSON editor. Everything you author in Giraffe is in a native GIS format.

This makes interoperability between Giraffe and ArcGIS very easy!

  1. Access the export menu via the main menu (☰) → Export

  2. Select "GeoJSON Projected"

  3. Follow the ArcGIS instructions to import the file

Bring ArcGIS into Giraffe

Follow the ArcGIS instructions to export your file as .shp with WSG84 projection, then Upload as a layer.

Or, Publish your ArcGIS project to an Esri featureserver, then import that layer to Giraffe.
