Files are a special type of data in Giraffe that stores images, PDFs, and 3D GLB/GLTFs for future use outside a Layer context.
Typically, files are loaded into a project for a one-off use. You might add a 2D image as an annotation, or attach a PDF as a project attachment.
When files are added to projects, they are also saved to a database where they can be saved and reused in the future.
