Clear out discarded schemes and test layers so the project stays easy to read and quick to load.
Delete a drawing layer
Open the layer menu on the drawing layer in the Layer Palette.
Choose Delete.
Confirm. The confirmation says how many geometries will be deleted, or that the layer has none.
🚨 Warning: deleting a drawing layer also deletes every geometry on it. Deleted geometries can't be recovered.
To keep the geometries, move them first. Select them on the map and pick another drawing layer in the Layer field of the Properties palette.
Delete every empty drawing layer
Use Project Cleanup to delete every empty drawing layer in the project in one step.
Layers you can't delete
Giraffe won't delete a drawing layer that holds geometries derived from other layers, such as geometries generated by blocks or flows. A message explains that the layer has features derived from other layers.
