Use the IFC app to generate an .ifc file.
Follow Sketchup's instructions to import .ifc.
IFC format is great for use with Sketchup because the file is editable in Sketchup!
STL (CAD Mesh)
Access the export menu via the main menu (☰) → Export
Select .stl
The file downloads to your downloads folder.
Follow Sketchup Instructions to import to your Sketchup file.
.stl files are imported as mesh to sketchup.
GLTF (Mesh)
Access the export menu via the main menu (☰) → Export
Select .gltf
The file downloads to your downloads folder.
Follow Sketchup Instructions to import to your Sketchup file.
.gltf/.glb files are imported as Mesh to sketchup.
Bring Sketchup Into Giraffe
Export as GLTF from Sketchup , then upload the 3D model.
