How to use filters and sorting in the layer library to find what you need

There are lots of options for finding layers in the Layer Library. Use these methods to find layers to add to your projects. Can't find what you need? Just create a new vector or api layer.

Search

The search bar searches all text in any property saved on the layer, including title, description, and more.

Search here to find all layers available to you. Search looks through all text, including layer name, description, tags, etc.

Try searching “cadastre,” “flood,” “wetlands,” “parcels,” “opportunity zones” or whatever you need!

Filter by Map Location

For a basic, wide search - toggle on "filter by map location" to see layers with defined boundaries that include your project boundary.

Sometimes you want to search within a particular column - that is what filtering is great for!

To filter, select the filter icon on the column header

Then, input or select the values you want to filter by

If this is a filter set you will use again and again, click “save filters” to make it the default in your currently selected Projects or your Home Space.

Group by

Group layers by Layer Group or Workspace to organize layers into visual headings.
