Query Info with the Data Table

See the details of items selected in the table

Filters, searches, and selections applied in the data table also filter the map.

Selecting items on the map will also select the corresponding row in the data table.

Viewing Selected items

Double click on a row to zoom to that geometry on the map.

Right click on a row to see query options.

  1. Show on map

    Same as double click row - zoom map to polygon

  2. Show details

    Opens the data panel

  3. Add selection to project

    Creates a geoJSON editable Giraffe geometry

  4. Add selection to new project

    Creates a geoJSON editable Giraffe geometry and opens scratchpap

  5. Create Multiple projects from selection

    Creates projects using the selected polygon as the project boundary

  6. Create layer from sleection

    Creates a static geoJSON layer

  7. Zoom to selection

    With multiple rows selected, zooms to the bounding box extents of all geometries in the selection


  8. Cut - only valid on the Portfolio Layer

  9. Copy

    Copies the value of the currently selected CELL in the table

  10. Copy with Headers

    Copies the value of the currently selected CELL in the table with the value of the column header

  11. Copy with Group Headers

  12. Paste - only valid on the Portfolio Layer

  13. Export

    Export the selection to CSV or Excel.

Select One

Click any layer shape on the layer with data table open

or

Click any row in the data table table

A panel appears in the right-hand dock that displays that shape’s information.

The panel displays all available fields for the selected item, regardless of column visibility in the data table.

If multiple polygons overlap on the map click, you will get a menu of polygons to select. Tick the checkbox for the one you want to query.

Select Multiple

Use the click tools to control how map data is selected.

You can select a click tool from the menu, or use shortcuts.

To select multiple: hold down shift and click

To marquee select: hold shift and drag

To lasso, hold shift + o

Click esc to deselect all
