Adding Images to geometry instead of uploading images as layers give some additional flexibility:
Layers cannot be easily moved while image polygons can.
Layers are always on the ground plane while image polygons can be stacked or and base height
To add an image to a polygon, use the Image property.
Upload an image by clicking "change" in the properties palette.
The image is stretched to fit the polygon.
