Project Cleanup

Purge unused project content to keep your work tidy and performant

Written by Holly Conrad Smith

The cleanup menu in project settings lets you bulk-delete empty draw layers, unused usages, unused flows, unused blocks, and unused scenarios — each showing a live count with a confirmation prompt before deletion. You can also reset usages to Giraffe defaults.

Unused content is content that is not applied to any geometries in the current project.

Open Project Settngs

Scroll down and select "other"

The Cleanup menu appears.

Purge Unused

Purge ALL unused content with one click.

Removes all of the following:

  • empty draw layers

  • unused usages

  • unused flows

  • unused blocks

  • unused scenarios

Confirm to purge. This cannot be undone.

More

Click "More" to access individual cleanup options.

The menu displays the count of unused items in each category.

Reset all usage data

Deletes all usages in the current project and replaces them with the Giraffe defaults from the "blank" template.

These are NOT your org's defaults - they are the Giraffe defaults. This is effectively a reset to factory settings button.
