Check setbacks, frontages, and site areas on the spot with the measure tools. Measure a distance or an area on the map without drawing a geometry into your project.
Measure a distance
In the draw bar, open the measure tools and choose Tape measure. OR press
Shift+L.Click points on the map to measure the distance between them.
Measure an area
In the draw bar, open the measure tools and choose Tape measure (area).
Click points on the map to outline the area you want to measure.
The measure tools work in read-only projects too, so viewers can check distances and areas without editing anything.
